Grassroots Democrats HQ Postcards

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Grassroots Democrats HQ (“GDHQ,” “we”) runs this postcard-writing tool to help volunteers write get-out-the-vote postcards to voters. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the responsibilities that come with handling voter information.

Information we collect

How we use information

Voter data — your responsibilities

Voter addresses are sensitive. When you accept addresses you agree to use them only to write your assigned postcards, and to never copy, download, photograph, share, sell, or reuse them for any other purpose. We restrict each volunteer to seeing only their own assigned addresses.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the tool (for example, our hosting, database, and email-delivery providers), and when required by law.

Security

Access to data is protected by authentication and row-level security so volunteers can only see their own information. We log administrative actions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Data retention

We keep account and activity data while your account is active and as needed to run the program and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account by emailing us.

Your choices

You can update your profile and email preferences from your Account page, or contact us to access or delete your information.
